We are new to homeschooling as this next school year will be our first. We have researched, researched, and prayed and prayed to reach this point. I know that we are following God's plan for our family and He will guide our steps through our journey.
Our curriculum is selected, ordered, and received. Our school room is in the process of getting set up. Our declaration of intent has been filed and received. Our hearts are filled with excitement.

Welcome to the wonderful world of homeschooling. :-) ...we're actually still fairly 'new' at it ourselves - this is our 12 year old daughter's second year and our 10 year old son's first (half, actually, we took him out in January of this year) ... it's awesome - I wish I knew long ago what I know now..I'd have *never* put either of them into the public system.
