I am the product of the great American love story. I could see it from an early age. The love and passion. The hand holding. The stolen kisses when they thought we weren't looking. The care and tenderness as that love ages.

My parents raised my sister and me in the same small, rural town where my mother grew up. A town where little league games were like the World Series and Friday nights were legendary. Where you might as well just get used to following tractors on the road and not being bothered by it. Where my friends were daughters of my mothers friends in school and gracious there were some things we all knew, but you just never should discuss.

When I went off to college, I only traveled to the county seat 15 miles up the road. To me, it's town. It's where you can get everything you need. It's the town where I met the love of my life.

We had a whirlwind romance. He swept me off my feet and then some. He still does. We've traveled together, laughed together, cried together, lost together, and won together.

We were married seven years before God sent us Little Buddy, our son. I worked until he was almost seven years old and then came home to homeschool him. We had researched, prayed, and prayed some more to reach that decision. I've not regretted it for a moment. {Well, two moments.}

About the same time, I began this blog. You see, I have always loved to write and always loved to share stories. I have fallen in love with it. I write about our home, our family, homeschooling, parenting, myself, and a whole lot about Little Buddy. I also sometimes write about my businesses with my family and what's happening there.
